Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions about my background, skills, and expertise.

What is your background?

I started my career as a front end developer for a large group of manufacturing companies in Northwest Ohio, later becoming a self-employed full stack developer. For several years, I worked on both web development projects and writing projects. At the end of 2014, I decided to focus on freelance writing full time.

I was a regular contributor to ProgrammableWeb, formerly the world's leading source of news and information about APIs, from February 2012 to October 2018. I covered breaking news about APIs, SDKs, and API-driven platforms. MuleSoft shut down the ProgrammableWeb site in February 2023.

I've created content for a number of technology companies including Forter, Webz.io, Radix, k6, and Ekata.

Where can I find samples of your work?

Why aren't there more recent samples of your work?

I've been doing a lot of ghostwriting in recent years, so much of my work can't be included in my portfolio. I don't receive a byline very often, but it does happen once in a while.
